Our goal is for all of the resources for National Homelessness Sunday to be free. To produce these resources, and simultaneously build a national coalition to carry the work forward, we are fundraising for $50k for:

 

• Non-Profit Infrastructure: Incorporation, liability insurance, and so much more provide the basic structure needed to do this right

 

• Marketing and Production: Galvanizing 500 churches and empowering them with resources will be a massive undertaking: print materials, web design, social media, video production, and tabling at key conferences.

 

• Professional, Expert Work: Our leadership, present and future, is highly experienced and gifted for this work, and we want to honor that with fair compensation. Additionally, we want to include the voices and perspective of those with lived and living experience of homelessness, and pay generously for it.

 

While we build ourselves up, Crosswinds Church, a community committed to ending homelessness in Livermore CA, has generously offered to be our 501(c)3 sponsor. This means that donations are collected and overseen by their trusted structure, and allocated to the National Coalition. This allows for your donation to be tax-deductible, and also ensures that our finances and oversight are trustworthy even as we build the coalition from the ground up.
